HKFC Female Coach Educator

To encourage the development of female coaches the HKFC mini section is seeking to employ a Female Coach Educator. This person will provide workshops and coaching session feedback to support and develop female coaching volunteers in the non-contact (U5-U8) section of the club. The section envisages this program moving up to contact in future years as the volunteers develop. As the volunteers will predominately be mothers with limited rugby background, support will be provided on knowledge of the technical aspects of the game, coaching techniques and age group and gender specific coaching approaches.

Role:

The Educator will manage a group volunteer coaches and ensure they are given ideas and encouragement. She will report to Steve Jones, HKFC Mini Coach Development Coordinator, to ensure these volunteers are given sufficient coaching time and support by their Head Coaches. The Educator will provide a mix of coaching workshops and co-coaching/observation sessions. This will be over 8-10 Sunday mornings at strategic points in the season.

Deliver 2 Sunday mornings a month of 2 sessions (7.20-8.40 and 8.45-10.00) in September and October. From November – April deliver 1 Sunday of 2 sessions (7.20-8.40 and 8.45-10.00). (This may change slightly depending on weather conditions, festivals and tours)

Rate of pay:

The Educator will receive 600 Hong Kong Dollars per hour (1200 per Sunday) up to a maximum of 12,000 Hong Kong Dollars.
